Refund & Cancellation Policy
Honest, straightforward terms for cancellations, returns and refunds.

We want every purchase to feel as honest as the stone itself. This policy explains when you can cancel, return or be refunded for an order placed with [FILL: registered legal/business name] ("Honest Gems"). Because each gemstone is a unique natural product, please read this carefully before you buy.
1. Cancellations
You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched for a full refund. To cancel, contact us as soon as possible at honestastrologer@gmail.com or +91 76782 28364 with your order details. Once an order has been handed to the courier, it is treated as a return (see below). We may also cancel an order on our side (e.g. a stone already sold, a pricing error, or failed verification) and will refund you in full in that case.
2. Returns
If a stone arrives damaged, not as described, or different from its certificate, you may request a return within [FILL: e.g. 7] days of delivery. To be eligible:
- The stone must be unused and in its original condition and packaging.
- Its original certificate and any seals must be intact and included.
- You must share an unboxing photo/video and the issue when you raise the request — this protects both sides for high-value items.

3. Non-returnable situations
- Custom-sourced or specially-ordered stones procured to your specific request.
- Stones returned without their certificate, or with a tampered seal.
- Normal, disclosed natural characteristics (inclusions, minor colour/weight variation) that are documented on the certificate — these are not defects.
- The ₹501 astrological consultation fee, once the consultation has been provided (where not adjusted against a purchase).
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect a returned stone — or once an order is cancelled before dispatch — we will approve your refund. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method through our payment gateway (Razorpay) within [FILL: e.g. 7–10] business days. The time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer. Any payment-gateway or courier charges that are non-recoverable may be deducted only where the return is not due to our error; if the issue is our fault, you are refunded in full.
5. Damaged or lost in transit
High-value orders are shipped insured. If your parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact us immediately — we will work with the courier and, where appropriate, replace the stone or refund you in full.
